There are two small supermarkets<\/strong> in the centre of Samo\u00ebns \u2013 Petit Casino, located just off the main square heading towards the turret. \u00a0(Closes between 12:00 and 3:00 pm, but is open on evenings). The second small supermarket is Sherpa located on the roundabout opposite the cinema.<\/p>\n

There is a large Carrefour Market supermarket on the edge of Samo\u00ebns (which is also the cheapest place for fuel<\/strong>). \u00a0Follow the road out of the village direction Taninges and it is 500m on the left. Open from 8:30 am until 20:00 pm, all day Monday to Saturday. Open Sunday 08:30 am \u2013 12:30 pm during peak holiday season.<\/p>\n

There are a variety of bakeries and butchers in the village, we like to try them all!<\/p>\n

The village post office \u2018La Poste\u2019 is located on a side street opposite the Mairie car-park. The Post Office is open daily from 9:00am until 12:00, and from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. On Saturdays the Post Office is open from 9:00 am until 12:00.<\/p>\n

There are three banks<\/strong> in the centre of the village, Banque Populaire (heading towards Carrefour), Credit Agricole (on the main street) and Credit Mutuel (in the main square). There is also an ATM machine outside the Post Office.<\/p>\n

The Tourist Office<\/strong> is located in the centre of the village, opposite the Alexane apartment complex, main car park and market place. \u00a0\u00a0They post a weather forecast outside each day (normally very accurate). They will also have information relating to the lifts and cross-country skiing, you can also purchase your tickets from there. If you need advice or assistance booking activities<\/strong>, their phone number is 0033 (0)4 50 34 46 57<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The medical centre<\/strong> is located opposite the Pharmacy on the roundabout just after the Tourist Office. 00 33 (0)4 50 34 41 88<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There is a large market<\/strong> in Samo\u00ebns every Wednesday morning which is recommended for anything from fresh fruit and vegetables to clothes and presents.<\/p>\n
